Friday Night

We offer Kabbalat Shabbat Services every Friday night, either at Kol Emeth or in another location. In addition, special programs are offered during each month. Some of our Friday night services are off-site, so please check the calendar, read our weekly email updates, or contact the office for location or more information.

Some examples of our community celebrations welcoming Shabbat are:

Kol Rinah, an uplifting, musical ushering in of Shabbat with Carlebach melodies, occurs the first Friday of the month. Download Kol Rinah Flyer.

The second Friday of each month, our rabbi hosts Barkhu at the Booths'.

We also have a variety of Family and Young Adult programs as listed on the calendar.

During summer months, we regularly hold friendly Friday night potlucks in people's backyards.
