Friday Night
We offer Kabbalat Shabbat Services every Friday night. In addition, special programs are offered during each month. Each second Friday of the month, our Barkhu at the Booths program is offered. (Some of these programs are held off-site.) There are also Family Programming and Young Adult programs offered. Some of our Friday night services are off-site.
Special Friday Night Services & Potluck Dinners
Join us on a Friday evening in a Palo Alto backyard.
6:00 p.m. service, replaces the service at the synagogue.
All are invited for a kosher potluck dinner after the service. No RSVP necessary. If you plan to stay for dinner, please bring a kosher dairy dish to serve. For more information contact Rabbinic Intern, Ilana Goldhaber Gordon ilana@kolemeth.org

August 8, Young Adults Kabbalat Shabbat Service & Potluck
at the home of Rabbi David & Carol Booth, 768 Paul Ave.
FIRST FRIDAY is moving to the second Friday in August for a Shabbat service in Rabbi Booth's backyard, followed by a potluck dinner. Bring a friend and a vegetarian potluck dish to share.
6:00 p.m. service, replaces the service at the synagogue.
RSVP: Email: youngadults@kolemeth.org by Thursday, August 7, to let us know what you'll be bringing (so we don't end up with all desserts and no main dishes)
Food Guidelines:
Please follow Kol Emeth's kashrut policy by making sure your dish fits one of the following categories:
- Food brought from a kosher home
- Cold vegetarian food that doesn't need to be cooked (salad, fruit, etc.)
- Hot vegetarian food cooked in kosher utensils and/or foil (even in a nonkosher kitchen)
- Hechshered items bought at the store
