Trip to Israel

To walk the length and breadth of the land; this summer, our congregation is organizing a Family Tour of Israel beginning on June 15. This is scheduled as a 12 day trip but can be extended. We will take the opportunity to learn, hike, and experience the beauty of the Land of Israel. This trip is aimed at all ages. Each day will include activities appropriate for children as well as adults. We will visit Makhon Schecter, the Conservative Rabbinical School in Israel, and have a chance to study with Rabbi David Golinkin, its President and chair for many years, of the Law Committee for Israel. There will be time for visiting the archeological ruins from Second Temple times to hikes in the North that call to mind the times of the Prophets.
