TKEYA - Young Adults Group

TKEYA (The Kol Emeth Young Adults) is a social group for Jewish young adults (20-ish to 40-ish; anyone young at heart is welcome). We are proud to affiliate with Congregation Kol Emeth, but everyone is welcome. No affiliation or membership to Kol Emeth or any other organization is necessary.

We host a variety of events throughout the year, including at least two every month. Previous events have included a Rosh Hashanah dinner, a Jewish learning hike, and a Shabbat afternoon picnic. We're serious about being Jewish and serious about having a good time.

How to stay in touch

You can receive updates on our events in two ways:

  • Through our blog : go to the homepage and enter your email address into the box labeled "Email subscription."
  • Through our Facebook group:request to join the group and we'll add you. On Facebook, you will be able to see who else is coming to events. The group is closed to protect our member's privacy.

For direct questions, you can email us at kolemethyoungadults@gmail.com.

All TKEYA events are posted to both our blog and our Facebook page. We also invite you to join the Bay Area Meetup group for events from other local young-adult groups.

Join TKEYA on Shabbat

We invite you to join us Shabbat morning at Kol Emeth. Services begin at 9:15 and kiddush lunch is around 12:15. Thinking about coming? Feel free to email us a few days in advance so that we know to look for you.

Don't read Hebrew? Fear not! Kol Emeth provides booklets with the entire service transliterated (the Hebrew spelled out in English).

On the second Saturday of each month, we are privileged to have a discussion of contemporary Jewish issues with Rabbi Booth immediately after kiddush. Topics are announced on the blog and Facebook group. New to the group? You can find us under the olive tree in the courtyard at 1:00 sharp.
