If you have stock in certificate form to donate, contact the office for information on transferring the stock certificate(s) to Congregation Kol Emeth.
Donation of stock by electronic transfer is, generally, an easy and relatively quick process. It is the preferable method under most circumstances, as it has the benefit of short transfer time and safety. You should direct your financial institution to make a direct electronic transfer to Congregation Kol Emeth's Vanguard Group brokerage account. Your financial institution needs the following information in order to process your donation:
Account name: Congregation Kol Emeth Brokerage Account

Vanguard Group's DTC number: 0443
When donating stock by electronic transfer, it is important to inform the office about the transfer, preferably before or at the time you initiate the transfer. Provide the office with your name, stock name and symbol, number of shares being donated, and the financial institution that is transferring the stock.
If you own stock in certificate form that you want to donate, contact the office for information on transferring the stock to the synagogue.
For your information, the synagogue's policy is to sell securities upon receipt. We are not automatically notified when stocks arrive in our account, therefore it is especially important that you inform us of your pending transfer. In this way we will be able to execute its sale in a timely manner. If you have any questions, contact the synagogue office.
