Web Use Guidelines

The Kol Emeth web site is a communications tool for current and prospective members. It reflects the philosophy and activities of the Kol Emeth community. The various sections of the web provide descriptions, schedules and updates for many synagogue organizations while also answering common questions from Kol Emeth members.

Examples of items that can be posted:

• Descriptions of an activity on the synagogue calendar
• Kol Emeth committee minutes
• Kol Emeth education class schedules
• Information guides related to a synagogue activity (bar/bat mitzvah, kashrut)

Items that cannot be posted:

• Personal opinions
• Political statements
• For-profit advertising
• Links related to non-Jewish issues
• Names of bar/bat mitzvah families (to protect privacy)
• Individual members phone numbers (to protect privacy)

Process for submitting a web posting
Information for the Kol Emeth web site may be submitted as an email with text, an email with an attachment or a Microsoft Word document. Send information to publicity@kolemeth.org
